Critical mass of self energy
Enough Self-energy in the room that protectors unclench and real work becomes possible.
Description
A threshold, not a quantity. Once protectors trust that Self is present and can actually handle what happens next, the system stops resisting and starts collaborating. You don’t need all of it — you need enough to proceed safely, and “enough” is lower than people expect.
The useful implication is that you can stop trying to feel serene. The question is never “am I in Self?” but “is there enough here to take one more step?” We have watched good work happen in people who were visibly rattled, and no work at all happen in people who were extremely calm about it.
What Critical mass of self energy is NOT:
Not perfect calm, and not the absence of protectors — protectors being present and consenting is the whole point. Also not a state you achieve and then keep; it comes and goes within a single hour.
Examples:
A critic agrees to watch from the side while you meet an exile.
You pause often enough that a firefighter stops needing to hijack.
The session feels spacious, and there are also tears.
